- For the past 30 years David has worked within the Financial Services industry on both sides of the customer/vendor relationship. Starting as a graduate banker, David held roles throughout the banking value-chain spanning sales, portfolio management, operations and risk. David spent the last five years of his tenure in banking driving technology transformation programs focused on core banking and analytic platforms. He joined the Amazon Web Services Business Development team in 2017 as the Financial Services Industry lead for Australia and New Zealand. In 2022 he was appointed Head of Strategy for the AWS Banking & Financial Services business across Australia and New Zealand. David is an authentic leader, coach and mentor and is a passionate promoter of the importance of positive mental health in the workplace.
